Or perhaps a other possibility is : the polish word : " zdzierac " --> rasp

    As far as the memories goes, we can certanly say, that my earliest wellknown forefather was

    Martin Zdziarsteck and his wife Anna Zapka.

    Martin was farmer in Montwitz, country Ortelsburg / Prussia / Poland.
    He has 865 acres arable land.

    The only konwning children was, Adam Zdziarsteck * Jan. 03rd, 1813 † Okt. 08th, 1887
    He married on Jun. 08th, 1840; Eva David * Nov. 13th, 1822 † Aug. 17th, 1908.

    Both of them also lived in Montwitz; county Ortelsburg / Prussia / Poland

        It is possible that Adam had a sister named Catharina
        Catharina was born March 18th, 1826; she died Jan. 25th, 1884
        She was married to Gottlieb Denda * Aug. 17th, 1823 † May 25th, 1892.
        There daughter Luise * Feb. 27th, 1848 † March 02nd, 1926 in Zehdenick.
        She is the only knowing child out of this marriage.

    I found a other Adam Zdziarsteck with his wife Catharina Zabka and
        her son Michael Zdziarsteck * Oct. 18th, 1838; the date of death is unknown.

      Adam was 36 years old, and his wife Eva are 27 years old, when she will have born the first child August.
      Maybe Catharina was his first wife and Michael his first son.

    The date of transcription from " Z d z i a r s t e c k " , to " Z d i a r s t e k ", is unknown,
    in the certificate of marrige is still written August Z d z i a r s t e c k.
    And in the certificate of birth is still written Friedrich Z d i a r s t e k.

    Friedrich got married to Charlotte Bozian on Sep.28th, 1911.

          in the hospital in Eberswalde.

      The first acknowledged emigrant was Joseph - Emil Zdiarstek, born Zdziarsteck.

      Joseph - Emil Zdiarstek was born Oct. 24th, 1882 in xxxx and died in April 1950 in Green Bay / Wisconcin USA.

      His father William ( Wilhelm ) Zdziarsteck was a Baker in ???.
      He lives in the near from Warschau ( Warsaw ).
      Ortelsburg is probaly 65 miles from Warsaw.

      Joseph - Emil was married to Rozlie Wiszk * unknown † between 1917 and 1920.
      The both emigrated to New York - USA between 1905 und 1907.

    It can be, that Joseph Emil Zdziarsteck has a brother with named Victor, he was living in New York in 1951.

      Radiosearch of the " German Red Cross ".
      The brothers Helmut Zdiarstek * march 24th, 1934 and
      Walter Zdiarstek * June 14th, 1936 from Klein Schimanen.
      August Koschinski is searching the brothers.
      He dont want have a contakt to me.

      Condition January 2001
      It is supposed, that a second Emil Zdiarstek existed who was born in 1917 (?) in Schiemanen.
      He and my father Emil received the skilled worker certification in Sep. 1941.
      It was supposed that both received the skilled worker certification from the other.
      A certification with the " wrong " birthday.
      This cusin Emil is still absolutly unknown, as well as who his parents was.

      Condition February 1997 / Mai 2004
      Based on a writing from Feb. 06th, 1997 from Mrs. Else Ritzhoff in D 32805 Horn.
      In the " countyfile " from Ortelsburg is also a Friedrich Zdiarstek * 1873 registered
      together with his wife Eva Klattka* 1882. Both have lived in Montwitz.
